Hey,

I'm Tommy.

Let's start off on the right hoof! My name is Tommy Beam, I'm a 23 year old artist, equestrian and you guessed it, photographer! I have a huge passion for animals and pasta, but chose to point my camera at the one with fur and ears!

I've grown up ALL over the United States: From as far as Pennsylvania to California, with a handful of stops in between, I always found myself wanting to document- EVERYTHING! The beautiful mountains in Utah, the farm life of Kansas, the marvelous train tracks in Alabama, even the ruggedness of Texas!

This story is important not just because it's interesting, but also because of where my love of photography came from. Through all of these moves I definitely took after my mom; taking so. Many. Pictures! Pictures are important, they are the spark for so many memories. I want to capture that with you and your beloved pets!

From the 'Horse Girl' Days.

I am a lifelong lover of all animals, more specifically equine! I was definitely your typical 'horse-girl' growing up: Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron on repeat, (my mom still knows all the words) begging my mom for a horse any chance I got and absolutely thrived off of horse YouTube videos! Through the years my focus on horses has never backed down! I'm so happy I get to turn my passion for horses and horsemanship into a passion for photographing them! I grew up with cats and they have always been a soul pet for me. I grew into loving dogs as well, and even branched out to learning to love rodents, reptiles and more!

Throughout growing up I was given opportunities to become closer with these animals and learn more about their beauty. From 4-H, to parades, to working at an Equine Facility with lessons provided! My memories were never enough to explain how happy they made me. Whenever my mom was there, she took nonstop photos. When I was older and off on my own, I took hold of that trait.

My Perspective

I believe that everyone should live in the moment however they see fit. I want to live each moment knowing I can go back and relive them. When you work with me, you'll never have to worry about losing a moment or forgetting the memories. The time spent with your animals is precious and how we choose to spend that time is very important. So allow me to be by your side and help you capture each wink, sneeze, and stomp.

The Process

01. Connect

Connection is incredibly important to me. Tell me about you and your pet. Tell me the story between you guys. Tell me your successes and even your failures. I want to get to know you in hopes we can form a connection..

Let's get talkin!

02. Conceptualize

With everything through our connection, I want to then visualize what you seek from a session with me. I want to talk about pose ideas, atmosphere ideas, even tell me about the outfits and colors you plan to wear! I want this to be your dream shoot!

Develop Your Vision

03. Create

With all of our talking and collaboration finished, the day comes for us to join together for our session. I wish for us to create art with our pooled visions! At the end of the day we are creating memories for you to look back on and smile.

Bring it to life
